Included are artists' files containing correspondence, exhibition lists and announcements, press releases, artists' statements, clippings, miscellaneous printed material, and photographs and transparencies of artwork; folders of correspondence with Richard M. Allen, James W. Johnson, Brad Melamid, and Earl and Suzanne Staley. Business correspondence and records include files relating to the founding of the New Museum of Contemporary Art and letters to Tucker from Joan Brown, Sally Hawkins, Claes Oldenburg (1 letter), Howadena Pindell and Idell Weber. Scattered project files relate to Tucker's ties with feminism, art institutions and alternative spaces and include correspondence, proposals, newsletters, and miscellaneous material. Also included are exhibition announcements and brochures from other venues; photographs, slides and a transparency of artwork.
